Every monument shop has a few of them: a drawing from a customer, an old job from years back, a file from a shop that closed — and you cannot open it, because it was made in a program you do not have. A Gerber PLT and you run something else. A MONU-CAD or Cochran file and no copy of the software. A drawing saved on a computer that died a long time ago.

The File Converter takes the drawing files monument shops actually use:
- Gerber Omega (.PLT), MONU-CAD (.MCD, .MCC), Cochran (.FLX), SignLab (.CDL) and VersaCAD (.2D, .2DL)
- AutoCAD (.DWG, .DXF), Illustrator (.AI, .EPS), CorelDRAW (.CDR) and .SVG
…and sends it back as DXF, DWG, Gerber PLT, SVG, PDF, AI or EPS — or as MONU-CAD or CorelDRAW, made by hand at our drafting desk.
How it works
- Upload your file — one drawing at a time, up to 25 MB.
- Pick the format you need. It is drawn in inches, at the size it was saved, and you can preview the result before you pay.
- Check out, then check your email. Most formats arrive right after payment.
$10 per file for DXF, DWG, Gerber PLT, SVG, PDF, AI or EPS. $30 per file for MONU-CAD or CorelDRAW, made by hand — usually the same business day. More than 10 files? Ask for a batch quote.
A person behind it
This is not a generic converter that knows nothing about our trade. It was built by monument drafters, for the files we draw every day. If a file will not convert automatically, it comes to our drafting desk, and we will tell you what we can do with it — you will see which before you pay.
No software to install, no dongle, and no old computer kept running just to open one program. Files you do not order are deleted from our server within a few days.
